
Two Sign Up to Seek Vacant House Seat
Candidates Have Until Friday to File For March 2 Vote
BATON ROUGE — Two Republican business owners have qualified to run for Louisiana House of Representatives in the March 2 special election for the unexpired term of State Rep. Clif Richardson, who resigned earlier this month.
They are Metro Councilman Scott Wilson, who is president of a trucking company, and Barry Ivey, who is owner of firm serving the nuclear power industry.
Qualifying continues at the Clerk of Court’s office until 5 p.m. Friday
