Local Couple Celebrate 50th Anniversary

BATON ROUGE — Les and Barbara Tassin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Drusilla Seafood Restaurant.

The Tassin’s have two sons, Mike and wife, Angie Tassin and Darren Tassin and three grandchildren, Chase and Kaylee Tassin and Darian Legier.

The couple was married July 2, 1961, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.

She is the former Barbara Bonacorso.
