
$2.7 Million Difference Between Lowest and Highest Bidders
CENTRAL — The Mayor’s Committee on City Services received bids from four companies Wednesday for the City of Central’s proposed five-year City Services contract. Over the course of the five years, the difference between the lowest bidder, IBTS, and the highest bidder, CH2MHILL, is more than $2.7 million. CH2MHILL currently holds the contract, but it was the highest of the four bidders.
The five-year totals for the four bidders were as follows:
IBTS – $16,187,550
CSRS – $18,000,000
Severn-Trent – $18,703,569
CH2MHILL – $18,898,275
